As a resident of the 17th ward, I like to ask you to support the purchase of 4330-32 Chouteau Avenue from the City (LRA) by the Forest Park Southeast Development Corp. to secure the garden space currently located at this site. Chouteau’s Garden is a valuable asset to the FPSE community, providing gardening space and instruction to residents of all income backgrounds. As the FPSE neighborhood continues to develop, it will be increasingly important to set aside green space to assist in maintaining a high quality of life in the neighborhood, and to provide opportunities for residents with diverse backgrounds to interact in a positive and supportive setting.I ask you to support the proposal by
the FPSE Development Corporation to purchase the lots, and make them available for low-cost to Chouteau's Garden.

My kids love coming here to learn about plants. It would be a huge loss for the community if this place goes away.
