Given the above, us as parents and supporters of The Causeway House Nursery have been given 4 weeks notice of the final closing of the doors on the 14th May 2015.
I as one, will not take this lying down. My godchildren's happiness and education is paramount, please help us in saving Causeway House.

Hampshire County Council is trying to shutter our doors while we watch, but we are about to hit 250 signatures and show them we are not fading away. Get this link in front of everyone you know right now because the council needs to see that we are not backing down.

This is a fantasic nursury with great staff which was the only nursury in the area that could give a full time placement to my grandson it also affects my daugter who works full time at the causeway and closeure goes ahead not only will my grandson not have a nursary but my daugter will be out of work this truly is a nightmare situation for my family
Can't believe this fantastic nursery is closing, and leaving us with such short notice to find alternatives. My 2 sons will be devastated at having to leave, I work full time and it is going to be very difficult to find nursery places for them in the short timescale given.
My 1 year old boy only started in January but has settled in brilliantly. The staff are friendly and helpful and he loves being there - no tears in the morning, he's really bonded with his group leader. The thought of trying to find him somewhere else to go after he's settled in so well is really upsetting.
An appalling decision, typical of a council and owner who appear to show a total lack of understanding of the widespread effect this will have on the children who attend.
please save this fantastic nursery, childcare is already hard enough to find, why unsettle children who are happily developing and being cared for in lovely surroundings by lovely staff who will also lose their jobs adding to the unemployment rate!
I understand that there may be a need to close the nursery because of funding. But as I understand it the funding will be reduced in September, so why can't it stay open until then when it will be much easier to find alternative places, or as in our case my granddaughter will be starting school

Mr Cameron! You have just announced plans to extend nursery funding if you are re-elected. Iclosure of this nursery is catastrophic to those small children amd hard working parents who rely on it. Fix this!
