I understand that there may be a need to close the nursery because of funding. But as I understand it the funding will be reduced in September, so why can't it stay open until then when it will be much easier to find alternative places, or as in our case my granddaughter will be starting school

This is so unfair to the children, and a worry for the mothers that have to work. Surely something can be done to help this nursery

Children are infinitely more important than 13% funding - keep it open!
I spent two years working at the nursery whilst training to be a teacher, the staff I worked with were fabulous as were the children I helped to look after. Please keep this nursery open and continue to offer a fantastic service to the families of Petersfield. Thanks.

Devastated to find this out today, my son has loved every minute of his time at Causeway house. Let's hope we can save it

My son Charlie absolutely loves going to nursery at Causeway. He is so much more confident now and is learning new things every day! He has made lovely friends too and would hate to see them all split up to go to different places!!

We must keep our nurseries open, we must be able to give our children the very best education we can.

Please don't close this nursery. My son had settled so nicely in the baby room, and I have no where else to send him with such short notice of closure. I will be forced to leave my job because we have no other option for childcare. Plus my son just loves every second at causeway- he's made some lovely friends, his speech development has come on leaps and bounds. He's turning into such a delightful little boy and I know that the staff at causeway play a big part in that! There must be a way out of this...

The causeway is a fantastic nursery.Childcare is hard enough when you work. The causeway has been both good for my kids and for me.

Very sad if the The Causeway House Nursery closes down - nursery schools are imperative in a toddlers development, not only on the education side but it teaches children how to interact with other children.
