My grandmother uses Brentwood daily, and has grown to rely on it. The companionship is invaluable and without it, life would be much more challenging and much more lonely. With no reasonably local alternative, closing Brentwood would be a significant hardship for both may grandmother and immediate family.

As I worked there as well staff and old friends of mine are loosing their jobs some of them have been working there for a number of years please help them too because we all know what it is like to get a new job certainly for the older generation !! please put your support down.

I am 92 year old lady and attend Brentwood day care three days per week and is a great way for me to get out and meet friends and just pass the time of day.

We are not second class citizens in the dales why should our residents have to travel elsewhere when this is home in an area they know and be surrounded by people who have an idea of how there life has been and who might be able to support there family on a personal level.

i am a nurse at the frirage hospital, we relay on these homes to be open as it releases the bed pressures on us, our population is living alot longer either modern medicine, shuting care homes is not the answer we need more beds in the community as this is were care is going and this would prevent patients been in hospital for to long

My mother is a day care patient at Brentwood Lodge and she is a dementia sufferer, she is very happy there and the staff are excellent. Elderly people especially Dementia sufferers do not handle change very well so why uproot them if they are happy where they are?

we need this home

I feel its esential that Brentwood Lodge keeps on caring for those individuals thats need special care 24hours a day for without that care they would be lost. we need more care homes not less.
