The birds that make their home in Bokkom Laan, Velddrif are being chased away and affected by excess vehicular traffic.
Examples of noted excess traffic:
Large delivery vehicles, tourist coaches, large groups of cars in excess of 50 vehicles parking on the bank-side of the road, speeding vehicles and illegal motorboat/jet-ski activity.
Bird species include:
Pelicans, Red Bishops, Kingfishers, Spoonbills and many others.
We need relevant parties to enforce laws and by-laws pertaining to the conservation of the Berg River Estuary area.

Humans = chaos
If they cannot walk down Bokkomlaan; put them in wheel chairs. Leave the birds in peace and quiet to do their own thing. It's lovely to stroll there. XXXXX

Urgency for this petition is the order of the day, important to the West Coast, this estuary contributes major to the evo system, save these birds for their habitat
