Save Amelia's Trees
Some of the most beautiful trees on Amelia Island are about to be destroyed! The natural beauty of this island is one of our greatest assets. We are killing the proverbial goose that laid the golden egg when we allow business development to needlessly eliminate our trees. The Flash Foods convenience store and gas station at A1A & the South Fletcher roundabout is preparing to chop down many trees at this location, but some could be saved if we make our voices heard now. Time is of the essence, as work to clear the property has already begun. Let Flash Foods know this is unacceptable, as numerous trees could be saved if they slightly reduced the new parking area for their property. They cannot be allowed to destroy Amelia Island's trees! Please write to Flash Foods President, James Walker, at jwalker@flashfoods.com and tell him his disregard of the value of retaining our trees will not be tolerated. Sign now and pass this email on! Do something before it's too late.
