The council finally approved the funding for the dome. I am physically drained from this fight but grateful we kept at it. Keep an eye on the construction phase to ensure they actually follow through.

The Savage City Council is considering a seasonal multi-sport athletic dome planned for Community Park. While the council has voted to move forward with architectural plans and the preparation of an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW), the final funding proposal is not yet complete and the city council must still vote on bonding and other approvals for the project to proceed.

The signers of this petition support the proposed Savage Athletic Dome project and ask the council to move forward with the project in 2012.

The path forward feels exhausting and the administrative delays are wearing me down. We are nearly at one hundred signatures so please keep pushing to reach this milestone before the council meets again.

My kids have nowhere to play soccer in the winter. We really need this dome open ASAP.

GET IT DONE. Everyone is tired of driving to Shakopee for indoor practices. Stay in Savage!

The city council needs to stop dragging their feet on this project. 2012 is the year to build it.

Yes please. The local teams are struggling with the lack of facilities.
