I believe that we should be treated equal and that shoulders showing should not matter because in the big scheme of thing it is not a big deal. If guys can wear short clothing and clothing that shows a little more then why can girls. It is our body and life that we control so who is to tell us that we can't do something especially if it not cause a disruptiong during the school day.

We shouldn't have to hide our shoulders. Guys show their shoulders all the time and it's unfair we are punished and have restrictions on our clothing because boys can't control hormones or whatever the school boards reasoning is. Girls having higher restrictions on clothing is wrong and it shows how sexist the world really is.

why are women being taught to shame their bodies, but we aren't teaching young boys that harassment isn't okay. Their is nothing wrong with showing shoulders or skin cause reality check - it gets hot and humid. My shoulders are not the problem, the schools unreasonable policy is. When will the time come, when we stop sexualizing shoulders and bra straps ?

Guys are aloud to wear tanks and shirts that show their shoulders and other body parts. If you are saying that us ladies shoulders are distracting then the guys should cover up too. This whole "don't show shoulders" thing is just a small part of showing the schools true colors. "Sexists"

Showing girls shoulders isn't distracting. There is no specific dress code statednfor guys showing their shoulders, and, if anything, girls wearing bery revealing short shorts is more distracting to guys than shoulders, yet girls who continuously wear those type of shorts aren't dress coded.

Shoulders doesn't actually distract anyone. I mean every has shoulders. If we were revealing different parts of our body that actually would possibly distract others, then that would be a different story.
