The city council finally stopped blocking progress and approved the Sardis Road rezoning. We forced them to listen to our community instead of the stubborn local NIMBYs who wanted to keep seniors out. Keep your eyes open to ensure the construction stays true to the plans we fought for.

Final supporters
We are the surrounding neighbors and supporters of the rezoning project at 8515 Sardis Rd. We are in favor of rezoning as this area is in dire need of multifamily, affordable senior living. Many of us grew up here and family still lives in the area. As our parents get older the affordable housing options in the south Charlotte district are minimal. This is a small and consise project that will have minimal impact on traffic, density, and surrounding neighborhoods. We strongly urge you to approve this project and support the seniors and families that are looking to stay in the area!

My mom needs somewhere local to live soon and this is perfect. Please get this approved.
I am strongly in favor of this rezoning as there is such a need.Please approve the rezoning.
We used to live in that area and have strong feelings about that neighborhood. Would love to see improvements to that area.
My house it's few street away from that project and is total improvement for our area. I am supporting it and have my vote.
This is a great project to create affordable luxury housing in the area. It has my vote!
