We ,the undersigned are formally registering our serious concern and wish action to be taken to reverse the proposed reduction in funding for Supporting People mental health services in Sandwell, including the reduction which will reduce the Supporting people services delivered by Kaleidoscope Plus Group and other partner organisations.
Mental Illness needs committed funding to provide training, care and support for those who want to help people like me.

I have fallen through the cracks of legislation changes at local and national levels for the majority of my teen and adult years.... it makes me feel like giving up when I hear of yet more, cuts, closures and xyz "new" iniatives...when our understanding of Mental Health has only "just stopped being a 4-letter word".
DO something ....maybe if the comments from pocket policy petitions...like this one, no offense, got taken seriously and the changes allowed to bear fruit...then maybe, just maybe me and all my crazy friends can stop topping ourselves, while our key social support workers can actually peel their heads off their overloaded desks....with a modicum of hope.
