We hit a new level of momentum today that shows how many people are tired of these age restrictions. Send an email to your state representative today demanding they repeal section 297 B of the Family Code.

Ridiculous that I have to wait until I am 62 just to get the same protections. Fix this law already.
This is so outdated. Why should age matter if two people want to commit to each other? Let us have the same rights.
My bf and I have been together 8 years and we need these protections for our kids. stop discriminating against us just cause we arent over 62.
Makes sense for the state too. more people registering means more money for them. win win.
FINALLY. been waiting for someone to bring attention to this. me and my partner deserve these rights too.

Total inequality. If we are over 18 we are adults. Treat us like it.
