We are looking to make ABQ Ride a safer place by: -Adding safety strobe lights or extra flashing lights to the rear of the bus to prevent fender benders and collisions. -Adding safety zones at bus stops. Stand clear of curb, protection zone for passengers. -Adding passenger rules so bus rides are safer for our passengers. -Adding security for safety of drivers and passengers. -Painting the street sides where bus stops are (a boxed off area of the street where people should not stop) so buses can pull up to the bus stop safely for pick up/drop off. -Safety messages on board for public safety. -Posted rules. -Public PSA announcements (low budget PSA commercials). -And many many more...
