The role of government is to protect its people and the environment. With new scientific evidence linking serious health issues from consuming foods grown in fields where toxic agro-chemicals, pesticides and weed killers are used, we call upon the government of Belize to test imported as well as the locally grown food we consume for toxic chemical residues and provide a means to report test results to the public.

For health reasons, this must be done
Pro-Organic (have a 4000 sq ft organic garden in back yard)
This is important to all.
Protecting the food supply also protects the farmers. And the big picture is that the ecology and habitat of all living beings are protected. Why not?

Consumers should know that most items in the market are unsafe due to toxic levels of pesticides. Testing is the beginning of changing this.
