Seeing the momentum behind this request is truly overwhelming and entirely due to the people of this town refusing to stay quiet. I simply started a page but you are the ones turning this into a real conversation about our future.

Our water tastes like sulfur. The toilet and shower water is very often rust colored and smells like rust. We are looking into filters for all of our faucets and shower heads because it is so bad. I am concerned for my family's health.
The water has been awful (smelly / rusty / yellow) for at least a year. I have communicated with NY American Water via phone several times and Facebook and they refuse to address the issue, even going as far as to tell me it's homeowner's problem.
Everyone should have safe and clean water
The water in our home has a bad odor, is rusty & our clothes sometimes get rust stains. We're concerned about it being safe to drink.
For too long the water in my house has been running rusty and it also has a terrible odor. Have no idea if it is safe to drink.. I know it isn't t safe for clothes.
Please make sure our water is safe for drinking , cooking and bathing!!
NY American Water needs to clean the water. Enough is enough.

The rust in the water has damaged our carpets our toilets and our clothes and if it does that it cannot be good for our bodies. It wreaks of sulfur and has become undrinkable. We are paying for something we cannot use- a basic necessity. It is time something is done to fix this and make sure our families are not at risk!
