Demand Answers and Safe Water NOW!

Our community has endured more than a week under a boil-water advisory, with brown, yellow, and even pink water coming from our taps—and still no clear timeline for resolution. Families are struggling to meet basic needs, parents are worried about their children, and residents are left paying for safe water out of their own pockets.

To make matters worse, a public meeting intended for residents to voice their concerns was canceled within minutes because no Borough Council members showed up.
We deserve safe water, transparent communication, accountable leadership, and immediate action. We are calling on our Borough Council and water provider to provide answers, publish water-testing results, ensure access to safe water, address residents’ financial burdens, and present a clear plan to resolve this crisis and prevent it from happening again.

Sign this petition to demand action. Our health, our families, and our community cannot wait.

Something has to be done. This is going on for years. I got a water cooler 4 years ago because I never drink the water even when they say it safe to drink, I dont even give it to my cats. It just keeps getting worse as time goes on.

I can't believe this can go on for weeks or months according to Ashland. Something needs to be done. Children, elderly, pets, and families are in need for clean water. Families are paying for water monthly and can't even use the water. They all should get credits on there accounts for when this all started. Why can't you get grants from the State to start and a way to connect to Pennsylvania American Water Co. Winter is coming and pipes will be freezing and families be cold.

Ashland water has had problems for years. Why is nothing ever been done for the residents of Ashland. They cant even drink, cook, or take a bath with the water for weeks or months and winter is coming. Peoples pipes will freeze, families will be cold, and not even touching in on the cost of going somewhere to take a bath, buy drinking water and cooking water, the cost is so high, how are families going to afford this especially with the high cost of oil, gas, diesel, food, electric, etc.

Pretty sad that this has been happening for years with water problems in Ashland. They should look into grants and partner up with Pennsylvania American Water Company. Fix this for them please.

We deserve clean water. I have a baby at home who needs to bathe in this water. She deserves a clean bath. I also have pups that deserve clean the water.

My Daughter, Grandchildren & Great Grandchild, need clean drinking water, safe drinking water. And many can take on the burden the local township should supply bottle water for free as per family size needs. Never the less you need to shower or bath in water the water which is unsafe also.

I am tired of the water nonsense too. Enough is enough. We never know if it's gonna be pink brown or clear. The smell of chlorine all the time is horrible. Plus they wanna raise the water raise, we can't drink the water cook with the water why should we have to pay for it. Ya pay the water bill then use your food stamps to buy drinkable water. We need help! I have a brand new grandbaby coming in December, we can't give her this water.
