By signing this petition, I support the changing of the Barrister's Ball date from March 7, 2009 to either March 26, 27, or 28. This would allow the SBA an additional month to plan this event. I am aware that this is the weekend before the LRW Appellate Brief is due. However, the first year students will have 3 full days to complete the brief if the Ball is held on the 26th. Additionally, they will have two more years to enjoy the Barrister's Ball. I am also aware that the the Dodgeball Tournament is on Thursday night. There is still plenty of time to get ready for Barrister's fun Historically, Barrister's Ball has been held on a Thursday in the Spring, shortly before exams and graduation. It would be to wonderful to have it back where it belongs. This petition recognizes and appreciates the work of the SBA in organizing and planning all of the available dates. Please consider changing the date of Barrister's Ball to the weekend of March 26th. Thank you.
