In the Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush, the dress code is something that is understandably enforced. But in the last four years I have attended I realized that there is inequality in the enforcing of the code and the code is so vague that girls are punished and don't understand why. By having as many people sign it shows the necessity of changing it.

The administration at Benjamin Rush can no longer ignore this massive wave of frustration. We have built enough momentum to force a real conversation about these archaic dress code policies and they will have to face us now.

literally got dress coded for a tank top last week while the guys are walking around in gym shorts that are basically boxers. fix this.
the rules are way to vague. teachers just pick and choose who they want to target and it makes the whole school environment feel super hostile.

THANK YOU for starting this. so tired of missing class time because of my shirt length when i should be focusing on my art.
