Rumson residents please sign this petition to let the mayor and town council know that we are opposed to outsourcing Rumson's garbage removal and laying off 6 Department of Works employees. We would like other cost saving measures to be explored.

Keep our guys working. They know the streets and they do a good job. Dont outsource to some big company that doesnt care about Rumson.
The service is great as it is. Dont mess with a good thing just to save a buck. Keep it local.
I really dont want to see these guys lose their livelihood right before the holidays. There has to be a better way to balance the budget.
6 jobs is a lot for a town this size. stop trying to pinch pennies at the expense of our neighbors.

Ridiculous to fire people who have worked here for years. Find the money somewhere else. Not okay.
