Residents and businesses in Somers and Gasper Township need a safe, clean, supervised, and easily accessible place in the village to deposit their recyclables. The county pays for the service of drop-off bins, so cost is not an impediment. The landfill is not a practical option for dropping off recyclables because of its distance from town and limited hours, both of which discourage the practice of recycling, something the village should instead be promoting. If it is economically feasible, curbside pickup should also be an explored option.
Recycling is important, and even if I don't recycle on a regular basis, I, the undersigned, support the above statement and the effort to bring back recycling in Camden.
Residents and businesses owners of Camden Village, Somers Township and Gasper Township (not within the confines of Lakengren) are eligible to sign this petition. Thank you for your support!

I have requested a formal meeting with village council members to discuss the logistics of reinstating the drop-off bins. We are currently drafting a proposal that outlines how this service can be managed for residents of Somers and Gasper Township.

live outside of Camden but with Camden address. I have utilized the recycling for as long as it was there. I am very disturbed by the removal of the bins!
We need a recycling option in town, whether that be curbside pickup or the drop-off bins. I used the drop-off bins on a weekly basis for recyclables and have greatly missed them.
please bring back the recycle bins, or offer curbside recycle. I have more recycle than trash. Thank you
We've gotten into the habit of recycling our cardboard, plastics, glass, etc. and cringe at the thought of putting these items into the trash. Whether a central location or curb-side pick up, we need a place for our recyclables.
If you cannot put it back in downtown camden, have a pick up service. OR make it be sorted before going into the bin in a clear bag.

We are currently hauling 2 large trash bags of recyclables to the landfill every week. It is inconvenient. We prefer recycling to not recycling. We do business in Camden 2-3 times per week and it has always been easier for us. I hate abusers and have reported a few myself. Please put containers back in the Camden area. Thank you.
