We the people of the state of Illinois, County of Knox, do hereby petition the city of Galesburg, for a womens sober living community.
We would like the support of the cities officials in making a home, for women and children, that would provide
• Shelter
• Safety
• Educational Classes such as:
1. Basic life skills
2. Job seeking skills
3. Interviewing
4. How to write resumes
5. Budgeting/ Financing
6. Parenting
7. Basic Home Repairs
8. Gardening
We also provide womens group meetings and counseling sessions. Our focus would be to help women in our state improve their lives by providing them with education and hands on training. Also working with our community and state providing services that are needed. Please support our cause by signing below. Blessings to you and yours.

Reaching this point has been an exhausting uphill climb but seeing this level of momentum keeps me going. It is difficult to describe how much this support means when the path forward feels so long and uncertain.

We need a place for damaged addicted women who have fallen into a whirlwind of turmoil and grief. Please allow these women a chance at a better life. Some of these women have been used, abused, and manipulated into a life drug abuse which may have lead to sex trade, domestic violence, and, neglect. Thank you for your support.
Great idea Robin. About time someone stepped up to help out here.
This is a much needed service in Galesburg. I know personally that there is little help for woman in Galesburg. Please help get the services we need going and help woman that are fighting for a better life and just need a little helping hand.
galesburg really needs this. i have seen so many girls struggle to find a fresh start and they just hit dead ends everywhere. hope this happens soon.
I'm not trying to bash or anyrhing. But. If the building structure hasn't changed since I was there there is no safe place for a women's or children there.maybe in a differnt building
This should be approved for women.
Galesburg is in dire need of this.

I am so proud of my niece for putting her heart, and soul into helping people In need.
