Sportspark pool was suddenly closed last Thursday (10/6/20) without notice, explanation or any indication when it might reopen.
Sportspark Pool is now more vital than ever! It has been PACKED in recent weeks since it reopened on August 10th.
During this difficult time with limited activities available, we urge that RIOC continues this vital service to the community and REOPEN Sportspark Pool without delay!

The silence from the office remains deafening despite our repeated requests for an explanation. I am exhausted by the lack of transparency but I am not walking away from this fight.

Please re-open the pool, charging admission if necessary to pay the lifeguards. This is an essential facility for our community.
please open the pool to the RI community. It's vital for the mental and physical health of our community especially during these challenging times.
Yes please open up the pool as soon as possible it is my only exercise for my knees
Please keep the pool open! If not possible, at least communicate clearly why not.
Open positions for lifeguarding should be public to the community, as there are a lot of swimmers with Lifeguarding licenses. If the community doesnt know the reasons how can we help maintaning a vital sport available for us. Also, we reject of being use exclusively by outside clubs (Brooklyn swim and waterpolo) teams that use it all day without allowing residents to use it and Marlins to train and teach children to swim.

Please open the pool. My special need daughter needs this Pool. It is an amazing setting, respectful and sooo understanding! We need you open!
