Cardiff city Council are looking to introduce double yellow lines in Rhiwbina Village. With out the luxury of a local car park such as our neighbours in Whitchurch have in abundance, the introduction of yellow lines will further add to driving people from visiting Rhiwbina shops.
If do not wish to see our local businesses decline help us to raise these issues with Cardiff City Council before it`s too late, and support us in offering some sensible and practical alternatives to the traffic management issues.
Spending the morning walking through the village reminds me how vital these local shops are to our daily lives. I am currently working on a proposal for the council that balances traffic flow with the survival of our traders. Your stories about why this place matters keep me focused on the goal.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only one who refuses to let our village shops fade away. It means the world to see so many of you standing up to protect the heart of our community.

Ridiculous idea. Where are we supposed to park if we need to pop into the chemist or the butchers? Youre going to kill the high street.

The traffic is bad sometimes but yellow lines arent the answer. Think of the business owners who survive on quick stops.
