SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHOPS - PERMIT PARKING IS KILLING OUR VILLAGE. Businesses in Tynemouth understand that residents need permit parking, however with up to 150 TM1 & TM2 spaces vacant even at weekends please support our campaign to allow customers to use TM1 & TM2 spaces from 9.30am - 4.30pm and to improve the often confusing signage.

Totally agree. Tynemouth is becoming a ghost town because nobody can park. Fix it before all the shops close down!

Its impossible to pop into the shop for 5 mins without getting a fine. Killing the local trade for sure.

The signs are a nightmare. I got a ticket last week and I had no idea I wasnt allowed there. Ridiculous.

Bring back customers! We need the weekend trade or the village will just die out.

Local businesses need all the help they can get right now. Sort out the parking rules please.

JUST LET US PARK. Empty spaces everywhere while shops struggle. Makes no sense.
