The residents of Royal Oaks and and residents along Elmwood drive are opposed to the rezoning of residential zones to allow commercial development due to the addition of the new Moncton High School in the immediate area. Specifically a proposed mini mall located at the 2nd entrance to Royal Oaks next to 1810 Elmwood dr.
