The mission statement of Oak Hill has been to preserve the residential integrity of the city from its inception. As such, we request that you vote not to pass this ordinance.

We located in Oak Hill for the exclusive residential character of the community. We strongly oppose any commercial development within the city, and once allowed the further encroachment of commercial development is inevitable.
inadequate communication to residents on this issue. LIMITED commercial was surveyed, not large commercial as is proposed. Also, suddenly high-density residential shows up....opposed to that. Listen to your community!!!! Don't pass this rezoning now.
How can three people decide to break the covenant without a referendum? Once the doors have been opened there will be a precedent and there will be no way to control future development of this type.
This would be a terrible thing ... I have lived within 400 yards of this proposed commercial zoning development for 69 years ... it would break my heart to see this happen. The traffic there is already a nightmare. I oppose !!!
We moved to Oak Hill for a reason and it was not so that we could walk down the street to get some food or shopping. Instead it was to be able to walk down the street and enjoy the beautiful surrounding, including the wildlife and nature.
I want to preserve our community JUST THE WAY IT IS! We have zero need for commercial use, increased traffic, noise pollution and further destruction of the natural beauty we call home.
I want to preserve the community that we live in JUST THE WAY IT IS! It's PERFECTION!
