Being the undersigned party, I stand in agreeance with the community. We would like to recognize the address of 511 Robertson St, Denton Tx 76205 to be rezoned for commercial purposes. Historically, for the past 70+ years, this location has provided a great service, convenience, and has been beneficial to the Southeast Denton community. Therefore;we would ask that it would be allowed to continue as such.
We are approaching the 250 signature threshold for the upcoming planning commission hearing. Please direct your contacts to the petition link today so we can finalize our packet for the zoning board review.

The level of traction this initiative has gained confirms that current zoning must be revisited. I am now finalizing a formal request for the planning department to review our proposal for 511 Robertson St.

We are approaching one hundred signatures which is the threshold required to trigger a formal review by the zoning commission. Please help us reach this target before I submit the petition to the planning department next week.

Zone this entity as a business, which it has operated as for decades, apparently. This also allows them to continue to serve the community during the holidays to give free meals to people.

It would be pretty silly, and sad, to take this community resource of 70+ years away because of some arbitrary zoning rule. Surely, they can be grandfathered in if rezoning is to be done in the area.

Born and raised here as a kid I use to go to that place when I attended the boys and girls Club at Fred Moore, and so did my grandmother and the rest of my family before it was shut down and reopened shut down and reopened...... It needs to stay open because the food that is served is nowhere else in Denton.....

Having restaurants and small shops close to residential areas adds to the walkability of Denton gives the neighborhood character that makes this town GREAT. A restaurant like Clara's is a treasure and should be rezoned commercial and allowed to serve the community.

I am calling the mayor & the zoning commission. No, this is not acceptable. Bringing a sense of soul, pride and respectable business into southeast Denton is a positive move in the right direction.

I'm a native of Denton Texas born and raised here in SED, I remember patronizing this restaurant as a teenager. I would love to see the new generation experience this type of positivety.

This has been a much needed asset to the community and needs all of Dentons support!
