We the undersigned (residents/ members of Reynolds) are petitioning a revision and amendments to the newly published Reynolds Low Speed Vehicle Policy. In accordance to the original guidelines, members wishing to use a golf cart within the property where given very specific guidelines as to how the LSV (golf cart) must be equipped in order to be approved for use within the gates.

June 6, 2018 the ROA made effective a new policy which was not voted on by members but put into effect by the ROA. This new policy removed many of the previously allowed road usage and limits most golf cart owners to their own streets ( Reynolds Lake Oconee and Great Waters. The Landings had NO road restrictions enforced). This in turn limits the use of the golf carts significantly. Members have gone to the expense of buying and equipping their golf cart to adhere to the Reynolds Street Legal Reynold's Approved LSV (golf carts) guidelines, but now can't access the club houses, tennis centers, common grounds, swimming pools, friends living in the neighborhood and marina's within the gates.

We would like this policy revised and the members given access to utilize all of the streets within the neighborhoods as long as their LSV's have been equipped to adhere to the guidelines and are being driven by an of age licensed driver with a valid drivers license.

Most Golf Communities in the nation allow personal golf cart usage in their communities. These communities allow golf cart usage to better embrace the resort lifestyle so many of us moved here to enjoy.

There have been no golf cart accidents in Reynolds Lake Oconee or Great Waters.
