Some places,should be aloud to light off any fireworks and some places you are not even a pop-it is aloud.This 4th of July 2014 was weak in my opinion. Eugene as well as Portland are actually enforcing the laws through the power of the media. This time there overdosing on the subject matter rather you can use illegal fireworks or not.It seams to be working this time around but do they really mean it? If Oregon were to legalize fireworks,then they should only be aloud 3 super stores, one up north,one in the Willamette Vally and one down south. A 50 dollar permit for any one 18 or older lasting 2 years. A 2 day training class lasting 8 hours a day to assure you know what you are doing. Another idea is make it so you cant buy the illegals in Oregon but you can set them off. In my opinion, Oregon and all of the nation is not even making any noise compared to country's like China,Germany,Iceland,India,Tia won and Mexico. Personally if the law makers really wanted to,they would ban all fireworks before the UN council world wide for are own good but looks like they wont do that. Tell then,we will always will have all types of fireworks to shoot off!

We need stronger fireworks laws. Every year it is weeks of hearing fireworks, before and after July 4th. The fire danger is REAL. We need to be smart about it and enforce the laws.
