Oregon law states that any kind of firework that flies into the air is considered illegal, yet up in Washington, these fireworks are legal. Oregonians want the good fireworks, not the ones that stay on the ground, because they just aren't as interesting and they will continue to purchase their fireworks in Washington. Oregon needs to allow aerial fireworks, because the current law isn't working and cannot be enforced. Most law enforcement agencies cannot keep up with it and it is a waste of taxpayer money. Its time that Oregon follows the laws of Vancouver, because ground fireworks just don't sell as well as aerial fireworks.
