At the start of May 2022, new parking rules were added to the Westmont CC&Rs requiring folks to park on side streets only – We would like to revert these parking rules; sign if you agree.
There is plenty space on Thrush or Wren but limited space for cross streets. If we ban Thrush and Wren, it will create more parking issues. It also require more work for parking citation from HOA and it will increase the HOA. In the same time, as a realtor, I am plenty sure it will decrease the whole subdivision’s property value too.

I often have heavy boxes that I need to load and unload, It is a major inconvenience to have to pull up to my curb to load or unload my packages and then have to go find parking or go get my car to do so. The side parking on Eider is almost always full anyway. What if we can't find parking?

HOA rules should not override a city ordinance and the street is common area. It is unreasonable to make requirements about where people are allowed to park on a city street, just follow the rules and regulations of city streets.

I often wait for the UPS truck. When I see him come up here I drive my packages over to him. Often meeting in the middle of the road. We both can safely drive past each other, so if you have an issue you need your license revoked.

And if you have driving issues, maybe it is time to take your license away.

Great! Glad you guys took the time to research it. No one here is parking in a manner that interferes with the use of the right-of-way, the safe flow of traffic, or obstructs the view of other drivers. I am glad we came to an agreement that the parking regulations are pointless and against the city ordinances!
The goal isn't to eliminate street parking in general, just on specific streets. It doesn't really matter how you decide to word it, that is still eliminating street parking.
I find it humorous that you think that it is everyone else not being a good neighbor. If you have an issue with people parking on the side of the road, move to a private neighborhood. These roads are public roads, and preventing others from using them as PUBLIC ROADS makes you a bad neighbor.

The homeless camp is in the trees on the road you wish people to park on.
