The district finally agreed to reopen the doors and get our children back into their classrooms. Seeing them walk through those hallways again is everything I fought for. We will keep a close eye on the transition to ensure they stay where they belong.
Seeing this momentum grow has given me so much hope for my own children who have struggled so much during this isolation. It is clear that so many other families are feeling the same exhaustion and longing for a return to the classroom.

The district is failing our children by depriving them of a quality, full time, in class education.

We are so close to full time at SES (only one day home!) and other districts and local (private) schools have done well with going five day that I’m hoping we can see a return to full time in 2021 with plans and contingencies in place for all the scenarios. I have full faith in our community and our officials to do the best we can for our children!

Please consider having the kids go back to full time school in Jan. Other districts look like they have been successful with precautions. I believe this is detrimental to the social, mental, and learning aspect for all students.

Hybrid isn't helping the # of cases! If extracurriculars & sporting events can happen kids SHOULD be IN PERSON school!

I know my son would love to be back in school full time as his next semester is full of Hands-On trades classes. Not sure how much he will benefit being at home 3 days a week and not being able to be there in person. You can't do machining at home.

My kids attend TJ and DES. I believe full time school is necessary. PWWSD has shown this fall that we can do this without peril to our students. Kids need to be in school. It is a travesty what we are doing to our children. I have watched my children struggle - the mental taxation of the current climate of the world is great. Children need to know that it is ok to be around other people and get back to routines that make them feel safe - we are social beings after all. There will always be a germ that adversely affects someone- and that is tragic- but should not bring us to a stand still. The time away from school will adversely affect them down the road.

ALL kids should be back 5 days a week. These poor kids have been ripped off of an education.
