We the Darug people petition the British government and Royal family to return not only Pemulweys bones but all Aboriginal bones back to their home country so their spirits can rest with their ancestors.
To keep our ancestors on display in museums is not only incomprehensible but also an atrocity. We are and were never created to be specimens for scientific research or morbid display. We are a proud people who honour our traditions and ancestors.
Our people cannot really start to heal in spirit until our ancestors which your people murdered are brought back home.
