The water levels in Lakes Huron, Michigan and Georgian Bay
are dropping. One of the main reasons is the outflow on the
St Clair River due to dredging.
The water levels have been dropping for last 12 years.
You can find out more at Ontario Sierra Club site.
Simply put, WE WANT OUR WATER LEVELS RESTORED BY
25 CM from TODAYS LEVEL!!
I have been reviewing the recent feedback to understand how this ecological shift affects our shoreline communities. These accounts provide important evidence regarding the impact of the St. Clair River operations on our local water levels. Further research and correspondence with environmental advocates are currently underway to address these concerns.

My dock is sitting in the mud now. Been coming here 30 years and it has never looked this bad. Fix the river flow before the whole shoreline is ruined for good.
