Dear Governor Dayton and the Minnesota Legislature:
We are saddened to learn that the Minnesota budget in July was balanced on the backs of the most vulnerable. Starting January 1st, cuts in emergency medical assistance will affect thousands of the poorest and sickest Minnesotans, including those who may die due to lack of critical medical care such as hemodialysis.
Please do the humane thing now and restore emergency medical assistance.
Thank you
Health Care Providers and others in the Minnesota Community
The stories coming in from people facing these medical cuts are heartbreaking and confirm why this work is critical. I am spending my time today emailing key representatives to demand they address this crisis. Find your own legislator using the link below and send them an email right now.

The momentum behind this push is real and the state office is finally taking notice. Now is the time to turn this pressure into action so call your representative and demand they restore funding today.

HEMODIALYSIS IS NOT OPTIONAL. This is completely heartless and needs to be fixed immediately.
