We are saddened to learn that the Minnesota budget in July was balanced on the backs of the most vulnerable. Starting January 1st, cuts in emergency medical assistance will affect thousands of the poorest and sickest Minnesotans, including those who may die due to lack of critical medical care such as hemodialysis.
Please do the humane thing now and restore emergency medical assistance.

so sad how this state treats its poorest people. we are better than this.
HEMODIALYSIS IS NOT OPTIONAL. This is completely heartless and needs to be fixed immediately.
Unbelievable. Take the money from somewhere else. You cant balance a budget on top of dead bodies.
restore the funding now. people need their treatments to survive.
This is just plain wrong. People are going to die because of this decision. Do your jobs.

My uncle relies on this care just to stay alive. How can you look at these people and say they dont matter?
