Over the last five years I Chuck Speas have been denied the privilege to cut hair and register in North Carolina as a registered barber. Due to my past criminal activity and failing to adhered to Barber board rules and regulations.My license were revoked for a period of ten years. This disciplinary action took place October 2010 .
OnSeptember 11 2014 vocational rehab and myself wrote a letter to the Barber board of NC to respectfully request my license be reinstated and once again it was denied. Since loosing my license I have lost my family, my home and business. One of the only ways to earn a living, and be self sustaining at this point in my life is to retain my license. Therefore; I am petitioning the Barber Board of North Carolina, as a result of reconsidering the action previously taken against me in their ruling.

The North Carolina Barber Board has ignored my livelihood for years but this surge in support proves they cannot keep hiding from the truth. They took everything from me and now they have to see that people recognize this punishment has gone on long enough.

Chuck is a talented guy who just needs a fair shot to get back on his feet. Everyone deserves a second chance.
Ive known chuck for years and he is a hard worker who is ready to get back to his trade. Please give him his license back.
For whatever reason Mr. Chuck Speas license were taken, is not a Good enough reason for a man of his talent and Career be destroyed.
Fantastic Barber.!! Works well with his customers & always gives his best at his work.!! I truly, whole heartedly believe he deserves to be reinstated more than anyone i know..
