Petition to demand the resignations of Vito F. Canuso, Jr. and Michael Meehan
Vito F. Canuso, Jr., Chairman of the Republican City Committee, and Michael Meehan, General Counsel of the Republican City Committee, do not represent the best interests of the Republican Party in Philadelphia and stand in the way of reform and good governance. In September 2010, the Republican Party of Pennsylvania removed Vito F. Canuso, Jr. as Chairman of the Republican Party in Philadelphia after finding "numerous irregularities" in the election. Mr. Canuso, however, refuses to relinquish chairmanship of the Republican City Committee.
Therefore, the undersigned citizens of Philadelphia hereby demand that Vito F. Canuso, Jr. resign as Chairman of the Republican City Committee and that Michael Meehan resign as General Counsel of the Republican City Committee.

I honestly did not think this would gain this much steam when I first typed it out on my laptop at the kitchen table. It feels like people actually want change now and I keep refreshing the page just to see all the new names pop up which is honestly kind of surreal because I was worried nobody would care.

These guys are just holding us back. How do they still have their jobs after everything that happened?
Time for some real change in Philly. This is embarrassing for the party and everyone knows it.
