Secretary Husted:
The undersigned citizens of Lucas county Ohio believe that the Lucas County Board of Elections will never function properly while Jon Stainbrook and Meghan Gallagher are employed there and therefore petition the Secretary of State to immediately act under its legal authority and right, to remove Stainbrook and Gallagher from their respective positions. Both of these individuals disrupt this government office and create a hostile environment where the employees are constantly in fear. The Lucas County Board of Elections will never function properly while Stainbrook and Gallagher are employed there.
The Secretary of State must intervene as the board is paralyzed to act due to the legal conflicts Gallagher has purposefully created and will continue to create. Likewise the Board cannot remove Stainbrook because that is within the exclusive authority of the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State has more than enough evidence after its numerous investigations to intervene and remove them both and to provide the citizens of Lucas County with a Board of Elections that serves the needs of the county.
For the foregoing reasons the signers of this petition, all citizens of Lucas County and eligible to vote, all request the immediate removal of Stainbrook and Gallagher.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have come forward to support this effort. This momentum belongs entirely to the residents who refuse to accept the status quo in our county. It is humbling to see that so many of you share this same goal.

How are they still there? The way they treat the office is a joke. Time for Husted to do his job.

Enough is enough. Get them out of there so people can actually do their jobs for once.
