I felt it was necessary to start this petition to let our voices be heard that we do not agree with the School Board's recent decision to keep Kevin Elwood as the Superintendent of Treynor Community Schools.

Looking forward to the next school board election.we need some leaders not followers.
Once again sending the wrong message to our students about how much they are valued. WRONG DOING should not be rewarded. SUSPENSION WITH PAY IS JUST PLAIN WRONG. THIS IS ABUSING YOUR AUTHORITY!
I'm now ashamed and embarrassed when people ask me where I went to high school. Well done Elwood!
Superintendent Elwood has served our community for a number of years, and I appreciate his dedication. That being said, the mistakes he has made are very serious, and cannot be taken as lightly as they currently are. Mr. Elwood has had numerous opportunities to prove himself worthy of keeping his job, but time and time again he has been ruled against in court, even after appeals. It is time for Mr. Elwood to move on with his career. Treynor deserves a fresh start. We must unite and move forward in order to be able to heal as a community.
How can the school board still be standing by this man?! And talk about a slap on the wrist for his punishment. Ridiculous!!
It is time for a new administration
Mr Elwood can't be trusted to keep our kids safe so he needs to go.

I live in New York now but grew up around Treynor and am disgusted by the sexual abuse that going unreported and unpunished in this community. WE NEED TO PROTECT OUR GIRLS and stop protecting sexual predators and those who turn a blind eye. What is wrong with Treynor? What message does this send? Support the girls and women who have come forward and those who are strong enough to be on their side. It takes a lot of courage for these victims to speak out - especially in a small town where people are too scared to do the right thing.
