Hello Community,
Throughout my residency in San Francisco, many years, I have noticed the traffic increase and the speed of the traffic increase. On Lafayette Street, between Mission and Howard, SOMA, I notice drivers speed through the street like it was a raceway. This is a enclave, a quaint neighborhood, with children, dogs, bicyclist, pedestrians, and elderly people. There is also a community center for disabled people in the vicinity.
With the communities signature on this petition and perhaps suggestions, the city will conclude that there needs to be a way to slow traffic on Lafayette Street between Mission Street and Howard Street.

I would like to see something installed so that there can be preventative measures in our neighborhood.

people treat this street like a freeway at 5pm. i almost got taken out by a delivery truck just walking my dog last week. do something before someone gets killed.
