I, the undersigned, have been informed that Mrs Wenjian Liang, sister of Nottingham resident Jane Liang, was taken away from her home in Guangzhou, China, on Saturday 10th February 2007 by ten or more plain clothes policemen while she and her family were spending time with two other families (including 3 children) ahead of the Chinese New Year. I was informed that both Wenjian Liang and her husband Zhiyong Lin were detained at Fanyu Detention Centre in Guangzhou City, for
