Lagrange Planning and Zoning meetings are typically held the fourth Tuesday of every month at 9:00am. On the agenda for February 28th is an amendment (Docket PZ-17-002) to rezone a 2.18 acre parcel of property located on Saddlers Mill Road to allow for multi family use in constructing two buildings to accommodate 10 townhomes. Given the large number of individuals this would affect and due to a vast majority working 40hr. work weeks, many believe the amendment should be taken up at a later hour in the evening or even on a weekend to allow all those wishing to attend to do so. The Department of Planning and Development Services (according to KRS100.214) is requiring 200 property owners living in the affected area to sign a petition wishing to have the meeting rescheduled to a new time. This proposed development is of upmost concern as this would have an adverse impact in your daily lives and potentially one's most valuable asset (their home). Please sign your name should you want to have the meeting moved to a more available time in order to attend.
