Respected Ma'am,
We as the students are grateful to be a part of the prestigious Wilson college and among with the Faculties. Most of us has joined the College from Various parts of India and as well as a few NRI's as well on late August and September month. Since this is our first time moving out from our hometown and studying far away, Most of us has faced it's own difficulties. Some of them had Homesickness, Mental health issues and Health issues as well and thus making them loose a few of the lectures and classes. We lately received our Defaulters and the Debarded list in which from each department (BA,BSC, BSC IT,BAMMC,BAF,BVOC,BMS,BCOM) more than half of the classes are on the Debared list on not being able to attend our First Semester exam and most of them are really stressed and panicked which is resulting them on not being able to study for the upcoming exams. We were warned and told by the Faculty that this year's attendance is more strict and was aware about this but still most of us were not able to keep that up due to unfortunate reasons mentioned above. This is a petition signed by most of us on requesting the College and The Management to kindly please excuse us for the first and last time and let us write this examination. Please do consider this as a request from each and every one of us who has signed this petition.
Along with that We will be making sure that from our next Semester onwards we would bring up the attendance since most of us has started to settle and adapt down here.

I honestly did not think this would gain so much traction when I started typing it out in a panic late at night but seeing all these names popping up is honestly making me feel like we might actually have a shot at getting the management to listen. The comments section is just full of people dealing with the exact same stress of moving to a new city and it reminds me that none of us are dealing with this alone.

I was on bedrest for past 1.5months because my leg got fractured and I’ll make sure to attend every lectures after getting recovered
Going forward we'll make sure that we complete our attendance .. but for the first semester please consider this petition and let everyone of us appear for the examination since most of us still confused and are adjusting with bachelor year .. this fy and we r messed up as it is it will be helpful if u consider our situations as well
Sorry for this time. Some migrants lost atleast a month in adjusting to Mumbai culture. Distanced from college is the main cause. Thankyou.
The students deserve a second chance, this is the time you all show your sympathy and kindness, the two prominent words in our college's motto
I have had problem adjusting to the weather conditions in mumbai and constantly falling sick , I request you to please excuse us for this sem

I have health issue traveling from thane town it's will take 2hrs to reach college. Please allow to write exam for this semester onwards attend Max lecture as possible.
