We, the undersigned students of Class 11 , respectfully submit this petition on behalf of more than 50 students and their respected parents, regarding the upcoming outstation trip currently planned for Dehradun and Haridwar.
While we appreciate the efforts made by the school in organizing such enriching experiences, after careful discussion among the group, we believe that relocating the trip destination to Shoghi, Himachal Pradesh would provide a more engaging, unique, and enjoyable learning and recreational experience for the following reasons:
1. Novelty of Experience: Many students have already visited Dehradun and Haridwar, which are relatively closer and more common destinations. Shoghi offers a fresh and exciting experience for the majority of students.
2. Rich Scenic and Educational Value: Shoghi’s location in the Himalayas provides serene natural surroundings, biodiversity exposure, and opportunities for outdoor activities such as trekking, camping, and cultural immersion.
3. Team-Building Opportunities: The adventure and group activities available in Shoghi can significantly enhance bonding, teamwork, and leadership skills among students.
4. Climate & Ambience: The pleasant climate and peaceful environment of Shoghi would provide an ideal getaway from routine, while ensuring safety and comfort.
We assure you that this request comes after thorough consideration, keeping in mind safety, feasibility, and educational value. We sincerely request you to kindly consider this change of destination to Shoghi for the upcoming trip, which we believe will be a memorable and beneficial experience for all.

Maam pls change the location . Its so boring to go ashram . We all are in 11th we want to go somewhere else
Location is not worth as we went quite a few time to these places, request you to kindly change the location
With floods and landslides in Haridwar and Dehradun, I feel this destination is neither safe nor worth the ₹11,500. As this is our second last trip, we hope for a more exciting and fun place that justifies the expense.
The Haridwar trip is not at all fun and worth for 11.5k as this is the last year we can go on a trip without stress of board exams...
I truly feel that choosing Shoghi will not only make this trip far more unique and exciting, but also reflect the school’s commitment to offering students fresh, enriching experiences. Approving this change would undoubtedly leave a lasting, positive impression on both students and parents.

11.5k for Haridwar just feels a lot… it’s a place we can easily cover in a shorter trip and for way less money. If we’re putting in that much budget, it makes sense to go somewhere that actually feels like a getaway Shoghi has the mountains, views, cooler weather, and an overall different vibe. For the same cost, it would feel like we’re getting more value and a fresh experience instead of just going somewhere we’ve all obviously visited more than once.
