RE: Road Maintenance
Dear City Of Redding Public Works Department:
For some time now there has been a problems with the road conditions at the
following location:Jewell Lane Redding,Ca 96001 (cross street is Westside Road ) where Westside Road ends and Jewell Lane begins, up to where Emerald Lane begins; is specifically where road maintenance is required. The specific problems with the street are beyond obvious,driving over a damaged street can hasten the wear and tear on your vehicle, increasing the costs of your vehicle's maintenance. Additionally, driving over a damaged street can be a jarring experience, particularly when you drive over a pothole unexpectedly. Several problems exist, including a need for resurfacing and repairs.This condition represents a potentially dangerous situation to the traffic and/or pedestrians using said roadway; therefore, it is critically important that immediate attention be
devoted to this location for improvement.It has been a nuisance for quite a few years now.We our requesting that repairs be made as soon as possible before any more damages our done to our vehicles Should you have any questions relative to this request, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned. Signs need to be in place reminding folks to drive slow. Multiple childern reside in the area. Bicyclist and people on foot frequent the area..
