we actually did it, the birthing centre is officially reopening. i am so happy for all the families who wont have to make that long trip anymore. thank you so much for sticking with this until we got the result we needed.

Final supporters
This is a petition to request the reopening of Andover Birthing Centre.
There is a desperate need for this birthing centre from the women in the surrounding area, as it would save them a 45 minute journey to the nearest hospital while in Labour and give them a more friendly and less clinical environment to give birth in.

The commute to the hospital is way to far for mums in this area. Ridiculous decision to close it.
I had my daughter here and it was perfect. why take away such a local service???
It was so nice to not have to go all the way to the big hospital. bring it back please.
DONT CLOSE IT. so many of us rely on the birthing centre for peace of mind
My wife needs this option. The current setup is just not good enough for our community.

45 mins is too long when you are in labor. we need this place back open ASAP.
