My coffee is already cold and I cannot believe how fast this is climbing but we need to hit that next goal before the board meeting starts. Just send this link to a few people since we really have to show them that Darley is not going anywhere quietly.

I honestly stared at the screen for a solid ten minutes when the number finally ticked over to a hundred because I just assumed my neighbors and a few cousins would be the only ones to care. It feels pretty surreal that so many people actually want to keep this maternity unit running when the higher ups keep saying nobody uses it anyway.

I keep refreshing the page because we are almost at one hundred signatures and I just know that number will make them finally listen to us. Can you please send the link to a few neighbors right now so we can hit that goal before tonight.

keeping this open is the right thing to do. stop cutting services that people actually need.
Think about the families. not just the budget. we need Darley.
Ridiculous to even think about closing. Save our maternity ward.
My wife had our twins here last year. amazing staff and so close to home. dont shut it down!!!
we need this place open. the drive to the main hospital is way too long in an emergency

This unit is the only reason i had a calm birth. its a lifeline for us local mums and closing it is just madness.
