PATIENT - The measure passed by the state to allow salons to operate outside is the equivalent of a dismissal of the California Code of regulations and disregards the simple right of clients and business owners to a comfortable work envirmnment.
ENGAGED - We propose to create a body, of state-licensed owners with the purpose of educating each other (salons) and to communicate with county health officials.
Hair salons and Barbershops contribute to the recovery of the state economy and they do so while providing the safest environment with the lowest risk of transmitting the virus.

Guidelines have been clearly laid down by the CDC. Hair salons, including Bruno’s, do not want to spread Covid 19 and have strictly adhered to the CDC guidelines; capacity restrictions, strict cleaning of products and the salon at large, hand washing and face masks. We must keep the economy open.
Cristophe salon was very thorough and careful in following all safety guidelines when they reopened in June. I am sure they will do the same again. We need our stylists and they need to make a living too! Please allow them to reopen.
Hair salons must reopen. They play a large role in maintaining proper grooming for thousands of clients who rely on salon services. Having outdoor salons is a joke - how do you dry hair and cut straight lines when the wind is blowing outside?
Open the salons. If people can shop at Walmart and other stores where there is absolutely NO sanitation effort being made, surely our Well Trained and Professional Hair Stylists can be back in business. At The Hair Stylist, we know for a fact we will be in a clean and sanitized environment.
I am a salon owner on the verge of losing my salon, stylists and my marriage die to the financial hardships. I’m at my wits end, I cannot deal with the stress and on top of this I have NO MONEY to get mental help.
Please open the salons ASAP!
