Renwick Retail finally folded and agreed to keep those entrances off Peerless Drive. They tried to ignore our neighborhood but they could not ignore the pressure we kept on them. Stay sharp because we need to make sure they actually follow through on this promise.
Petition to stop the Renwick Retail development from having entrances on Peerless Drive.
11/27/19 UPDATE: There is a new proposal for this development that includes entrances on Peerless Drive. Next meeting 12/17/19 at 7pm at the Village Hall.
The massive surge in support proves that our neighborhood refuses to be steamrolled by Renwick Retail. Their greed won't work when we are organized against them.

Right now it is hard to get on Renwick from Pearless because of the traffic on Renwick backed up from the light. People exiting will probably go down Lynn St to Howard to Renwick which is a problem at that intersection also!

I am opposed to an entrance off of Peerless as it is a residential area with no sidewalks. Renwick Rd at Peerless is already a traffic jam with the east/west traffic on Renwick and Peerless only a few feet from the stoplight at Rt 30 and Renwick.

There needs to be a 8-10 ft brick privacy wall separating the retail from the homes in the subdivision. This would maintain privacy, security, reduce noise and help control rodents/animals feeding in n there dumpsters.

I strongly oppose plans to have any retail business turn on to S. Peerless Drive. We have children and many people who walk on this street and we do not have sidewalks. The street was not designed to have additional traffic. People already used Feeney as throughs street and many speed through that street already. It would be dangerous for children and walkers.

The very best way to fight this is to attend the board meeting on the 16th. When my church wanted to have approval for our building, we flooded the meeting with 100+ people. The board commended us saying that’s how you get what you want. Once this is approved (and the other side will have lawyers, etc. at the meeting) you’re powerless to do anything.

This concerns me very much, as I live on Peerless. There are school bus routes and children who play on this street and the adjoining side streets. In addition to our walking across the streets for mail. Additional traffic on Peerless is a great concern for myself and all neighbors and their families.

We don't need that kind of traffic going thru peerless estates. Its illegal to make a left hand turn onto Renwick rd.from peerless rd. or from the driveways shown on the plot. That routes all the traffic down to Howard rd and through the Peerless Estates subdivision. The roads are narrow with no side walks .Making a right hand turn from Peerless Dr onto Renwiick Rd. is very hard now because traffic backs up at the light at Rt.30 and Renwick .Totally against this development.

Peerless subdivision was a quiet, single family area with little traffic. Since Feeney was opened we have lots of cars cutting through. We do not need more traffic coming down Peerless.
