We respectfully petition the citizens of Orlando Florida to remove from the bench, Judge Maura T. Smith of the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida in Orlando. Judge Maura T. Smith failed to protect 4 year old, Ethan Stacy. Ethan Stacy was killed at the hands of his biological mother Stephanie Sloop and his step-father Nathan Sloop on May 9, 2010 after systematic abuse at the hands of his appointed guardians at the order of Judge Maura T. Smith. It was noted to Judge M. T. Smith by Joe Stacy that Stephanie Sloop was unstable and that Ethan Stacy did not want to visit or live with his mother. It is also noted and reported that Judge Smith admitted to not reading all the documentation provided by Joe Stacy to protect his young son, Ethan Stacy who was murdered within two weeks of arriving to Utah to spend the summer with his mother. Both Stephanie Sloop and Nathan Sloop are being held without bond and currently facing felony aggravated murder charges along with a number of other serious felonies for the murder of Ethan Stacy.
