We are approaching the one hundred signature mark which serves as the threshold required to request a formal meeting with the school administration. Please forward this petition link to three contacts who have a direct stake in the current parking policy. I am preparing the documentation to present our case once we cross this target.

This is becoming way too much. If I wanted to pay for things in a public district , I would have sent my kids to a private school. This is out of line. I agree with having insurance on your vehicle and having a valid license but to pay for this, don't think so. The kids pay, then the staff, teachers, employes pay as well!!!!!
Exactly, and the spot that they chose for us was the worst! It would be so much easier to just stay in the field house parking lots. Having to sit through the car rider line just to get to park would make a lot of students late and make it even more congested. Hopefully this works!
It is obsurd. Most of the kids will not have parking spots. That's just wrong and puts parents and families in tough positions when the kids can't drive to school.
Oh good! This is just ridiculous, it's one thing to have to pay for it, I'm fine with that. However, if I pay for it I pick where I park.
I will. I made this petition and plan to meet with Dr. Smith this coming week and school board shortly after!
Who is going to show this petition to the administrators or principle of DHS?? They definitely need to see it!

I understand them making us pay and the proof of license and insurance and all that because last year many students drove there without licenses or insurance but it is ridiculous that we are limited to almost 300 spots when were have multiple parking lots and as well as a humongous school popul
