Rashad McCants was given an opportunity to pursue an education at one of the best universities in the country AND play basketball for one of the most successful programs of all time. How he chose to pursue his education was up to him and him only. While his athletic accomplishments allowed his jersey to be honored in the rafters of the Dean E. Smith Center, his recent actions do not support the university that gave him opportunity to further his education and athletic pursuits. This petition is to have his jersey removed from a place of honor in the Dean E. Smith Center.
